Abstract

The SUVs (Sport Utilization Vehicles) are facing a standoff between the people and the environmental effect that they cause and their Drivers. This has triggered waves of violence where the SUVs are burnt down and destruction of properties greatly felt to the owners of various firms and also to the drivers thus concerns about them raised. In this respect, the Violence against the SUVs drivers and owners has to be addressed accordingly with the main objection, as of the view on how those who take the law into their hands should be viewed as either terrorist or just domestic violence and whether this should be right or not. This has been of concern and how to address those who set the SUVs on fire has to be regarded as of help to the majority people instead of being perceived as terrorists.

SUVs and Domestic Violence and Their Environmental Effect

In the rising occasions where Drivers in SUVs are facing a challenge in making their ways through the roads due to them being set on fire. It is of such great concern that Drivers are losing lots of invested money however, the SUVs on the hand have an effect on those who set them on fire or destroyed citing their environmental effect on their lives. They have gone out against the law. Though this is not good for the owners, it's a call to the authorities and concerned people to correct the situation that's posing danger to the people. Those who set them(SUVs) on fire are not in any way terrorists but call upon the protection of the environment and the common people.

SUVs are well known for their high fuel consumption. With their popularity in the united states, they have become a great deal of emission of Global warming gases that are well known for their environmental effect especially the Carbon Dioxide gas. In protection of the environment and from the effects that global warming endangers life, people ought to, by any means protest and show action against any loophole to the global warming. With this, the people have resulted in action against the SUVs.

SUVs had initially been made for transportation of cargo goods to various places but of late, they have been turned largely into passenger's vehicles. Definitely, their numbers have risen to an extent of causing an alarm. Its due to this that people are enraged by their numbers and in the realization of the effects they are having to the environment, they do anything(setting them on fire or vandalizing and destroying them) to express their anger. Although this might be against the penal code, it's definitely in protecting their lives for future.

SUVs have been largely been prohibited in many roads due to their oversize and overweight. They pose and therefore greater risks in the roads action ought to be done against them. The people, therefore, take the law into their own hands to show frustrations about their effects. The SUVs destroy the roads mostly meant for lightweight vehicles and thus the common people are left with poor roads. With the poor roads, the people can do all possible to correct the posed danger to their lives. The people, therefore, end up in destroying the existing SUVs though much against the Penal code. With these actions, the acts of Terrorism cannot be said to be happening since the people (though unlawfully) express their dissatisfactions. It's a call for further actions to be taken against those using SUVs.

It's obvious that SUVs are an expensive vehicle in an economy that has all the classes of people ranging from the poor to the rich. With the increased demand on the SUVs, the prices have of late been on the rise and hence for the sellers it's been up for capital exchanges that rise. With all this happening, the taxes are increases which hurt the common low buyers and sellers. The people feel unfair as the price shoot up and taxes increase. This negative impact on the economy has made many people react to the SUVs by setting fire on them and or destroying them. This has happened in disagreement due to the economy that might be destroyed with further and much purchase and use of the SUVs. Such people do not necessarily have terrorism motive.

The SUVs do not hurt the economy only due to their initial costs but also due to the high fuel guzzling that demand high fuel supplies. In any Country, high fuel consumptions call for increased supplies but where there are low supplies, the fuel prices are compromised to shoot up. This adversely hurts the other non-users of SUVs. They react to those effects through protest and showing rage on the SUVs. The people who set the SUVs on fire do have the right to check on their economy and therefore express their dissatisfaction with them which does not get to be called domestic terrorism.

The citizens of a country are entitled to equal rights. If a government and the authorities ignore the basic need for pure and better environment for people to live, The manufacturers and the users of SUVs have taken the advantage of the situation to increased their production and usage. The other people are left with the side effects of the SUVs. It's thus unjustifiable for even the government or authorities to refer to the people taking actions against the SUVs as either domestic terrorist or terrorists rather than looking into their grievances that have been expressed severally and also the negative effects of the SUVs.

Conclusion

If at all, the SUVs were to be accepted with no activism against them, they should have a much compliance with the rules and laws on the safety of the environment and the better rights of every person in a state. They should be pollution free or with less effect and also be environmentally friendly. Unless this is done, the actions against them will definitely accelerate from those against them. It's thus a call of duty by the people to rise and get the problem corrected. Such people are best suited as activists who set to show that something is being done wrongly through actions. Their actions, however, will bring better living conditions to the majority people.

The standoff between the SUVs drivers, manufacturers and the environmentalist and the people is therefore of great concern. The people who set the SUVs on fire and, or vandalize them are in no way to be described as terrorists. Rather, it's an action against the authority and the SUVs owners to have a second thought about the environment damaged and thus the lives of other people who do not use them. Furthermore, the People should be supported by another means apart from destruction in driving the protest of being against the SUVs. They are more of activist other than terrorist.

With regard to the environmental effects of the SUVs, their production, and economic contribution, the SUVs have made it necessary for people to come out against all odds and lead the world in fighting their effect on humankind. The increased rate of production and usage has to be condemned strongly before it's too late. The people who do take the lead, therefore, deserve better recognition as activists who call on the concerned parties to take a second look at their negative effects to the society and environment at large.
